A newly hired CEO of a mid-market utility was seeking support to help align her executive team around a new growth strategy. The Executive functions were shifting to account for expanded capabilities and the Executive Team needed hands-on support to develop their respective strategies that would guide their execution and performance over the next 1-3 years. In doing so, the CEO wanted the ELT to raise their ability to look ahead, sequence large bodies of work, think about interdependencies and pace, and align the growth of their teams to balance speed and cost.
We were able to support the CEO helping to accelerate the understanding, execution planning, and performance of the organization to deliver on the growth strategy with tailored support, tools, executive coaching, and facilitation. The organization is now not only meeting their growth objectives but also moving at a faster pace in support of their vision. Our efforts are now focused on targeted executive coaching as well as the development of their mid-level leaders in strategy development and integrated, high-performance ways of working.

A long-standing family-enterprise was looking to transition governance and management structures that would enable near-term leadership changes as well as provide optionality for longer-term exit opportunities. The leadership team required support to design the governance models that clarified their roles across family, governance, and within the business. Shifts were made to enable longer-term succession planning and development options for CEO leadership. To aid these changes, a new Board was required and a strategy to guide the growth of the business as new, non-family leaders took on significant growth mandates.
STRAAD was engaged to design and facilitate the governance, leadership, and strategy development functions necessary to ensure the successful transition. This included a key focus on family dynamics, governance, executive development, and strategic advisory to ensure each of the stakeholders were being provided the high-impact support necessary to transition roles. STRAAD continues to support this family and the enterprise as they look ahead in seeing the next horizon of performance for the business and in their better practices of family governance and board leadership.
